Our Story

Global Degrees started with a simple observation: talented working professionals across the Gulf region wanted a US-recognized degree, but had no time, guidance, or trusted advocate to help them get one. So we built an advisory service to be exactly that.

How We Started

From a Handful of Advisees to a Global Advisory Network

Founded in 2016, Global Degrees began by helping a small group of working professionals in the UAE navigate the confusing process of enrolling in flexible online degree programs — evaluating transfer credits, comparing accredited universities, and untangling paperwork that most applicants find overwhelming on their own. Word spread quickly among colleagues and friends, and what started as informal advice grew into a dedicated, free admissions consultancy.

Today, our advisory team has guided more than 12,000 students across 60+ countries toward accredited, US-recognized online degrees — always at no cost to the student, because our service is funded by the partner universities we refer students to, not by student fees.
